Privacy Policy
This page explains how information may be collected and handled when you visit The Operational Edge, use its contact forms, or choose to follow our writing.
Last updated: 3 November 2026
Information you provide
When you use the Contact or Speaking inquiry forms, the website collects the information you enter, including your name, firm or organization, email address, optional telephone number, and message. This information is used to receive and respond to your inquiry. Form submissions are sent by email to the website operator. Please avoid entering confidential business information in a public website form.
Technical and security information
Basic technical information, such as IP addresses, may be processed by the hosting provider and website security mechanisms. The contact-form system uses a short-lived IP-based submission limit to help reduce automated spam. Hosting providers may also maintain access and security logs under their own policies.
Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics to understand overall website traffic and page engagement. Depending on your browser settings and applicable consent requirements, Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and process information such as page visits, browser details, and approximate location. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy.
Newsletter and external links
Subscription buttons may lead to The Operational Edge on Substack. Substack manages newsletter signups and subscriptions through its own platform, subject to its privacy practices. The website also links to external platforms such as LinkedIn and podcast providers, which operate independently.
How information is used and retained
Information submitted through the inquiry forms is used to evaluate and respond to messages, manage correspondence, and protect the website from abuse. Correspondence may be retained as reasonably needed for those purposes. The website does not use calculator inputs as part of a subscriber or contact database; the Execution Budget Calculator processes its figures in your browser.
Your choices and questions
You can use the website's public resources without subscribing to a mailing list. Newsletter preferences and unsubscribe options are managed through the email service used for the subscription. For questions about personal information you submitted through the website, or to request an update or deletion where applicable, email admin@operational-edge.com.
Changes to this policy
This notice may be updated when website functionality or data practices change. The revision date above will indicate when it was last updated.
